Join us as we begin Holy Week with palms, processions, and fanfare. Modern worship with our Adult Praise Band at 9:45am in the Worship Life Center. Traditional worship with Children’s choirs, Chancel Choir, Orchestra, and Organ at 11:00am in the Sanctuary. Rev. Max Vincent will be preaching.

Maundy Thursday

7:00 pm Service in the Gathering Room

A service of communion, prayers, and homily, as we remember the Last Supper. We will conclude the service with prayer stations and optional foot-washing. This contemplative service  will be held in the Gathering Room from 7:00-8:00pm. Pastor Tiffany McClure will be preaching. 

Good Friday

7:00 pm Service in the Sanctuary

A service of scripture readings, stripping of the altar and music. The JCUMC Chancel Choir, Chamber Orchestra, and soloists will present the John Rutter Requiem, a profound musical work which combines traditional Latin Requiem texts with English prayers and translations of scripture from the Book of Common Prayer. This seven-movement work will be interspersed with scripture readings as we reflect on Christ’s final hours. This service will be held from 7:00-8:15pm in the sanctuary. 

Easter Sunday

11:00 am Traditional Worship Service in the Sanctuary

Join us as we celebrate the resurrection with vibrant flowers, grand music, and heartfelt “alleluias.” Everyone is invited to bring flowers from their gardens to add to the Flower Cross on the north yard (near the sanctuary). Modern worship with our Adult Praise Band at 9:45am in the Worship Life Center. Traditional worship with Chancel Choir, Orchestra, and Organ at 11:00am in the Sanctuary. Rev. Max Vincent will be preaching.

There will be prayer stations set up in the balcony of the Narthex that you can go through on your own at various times during Holy Week.
