BAPTISMS
Presenting your child to God for baptism is an important step in his/her faith. As a church family, we are delighted to share with your family in this special time of commitment. To schedule a baptism, please call the church office at (770) 497-8215 or email Davida Denton at ddenton@johnscreekumc.org
FUNERALS
We know that planning the details of a funeral can be overwhelming, and we would like to assist you in any way we can. As Christians, we grieve as those who have a unique hope in the Risen Christ, thus empowering us to mark the occasion of death as a time in which the hope of the Gospel is reaffirmed with joy and peace. A United Methodist service acknowledges this hope and offers family and friends the opportunity to remember a loved one’s life and offer them into God’s care. The service should be a time to celebrate the wonderful gift God gave to us in our relationship with the deceased.
The properly planned service can be a benediction and a comfort to us, as well as a witness to our faith. Please know we are here for you and welcome the opportunity to be of assistance to you and your family.
To begin funeral and memorial service planning, please call the church office at (770) 497-8215 during office hours or the Pastor On Call line at (404) 939-7079 after hours, and email Rev. Pam Cobb McCurdy.
